Kona Wave Cafe - Kailua-Kona

The açaí is excellent, and the portions are quite generous. I visited several times since it was conveniently located near where we were staying. I really enjoyed my experience!

Love their Acai bowls! Best in Kona. It is a little hard to find since it is off the road. It is located south of Quinn's and east of the old Splashers Grill.

I tried the Kona wave bowl and kona wave latte they were both amazing. Their acai portions are better than some others that I've tried so I definitely recommend this place.They also open early enough so that you can grab breakfast here before starting the day.

This was a charming little spot for coffee, smoothies, acai dishes, and more. I only stopped in for coffee since I'm not really a fan of acai bowls, surprisingly! I ordered a large iced Kona Wave latte, which featured both macadamia and coconut. It was absolutely delightful!

Parking can be quite challenging here. The restaurant has eight small rooms, and parking is not free. Fortunately, we found a nearby hotel just a short walk away. The staff is incredibly friendly. I really enjoyed the Kona wave latte, and the shaved ice was delicious. The Acai bowl was decent, though I'm not a big fan of açaí. The fruit toppings were nice, and the granola had a pleasant, soft crunch without being overly sweet. Overall, I would recommend checking out this place!
