Third time at this location. They didn’t have what I purchased last time, but that’s fine (supply chain/circumstance/etc). I waited outside by the cafe tables u0026 plugged my phone in for 5-9 minutes at outside outlet by cafe tables. The employee saw all of this, went outside for a smoke break, finished smoke break, then he went back inside. When I removed my phone charger he chose that moment to yell at me as I was walking away that I should have asked permission for the charge. There were no signs or other indicators that this charge was unacceptable (again, less than 10 minutes [to ensure I would maintain contact with my ride], outside the establishment where cafe tables and chairs are placed). I used to recommend this store- never again
If you like to be yelled at after multiple opportunities for civil communication or signage, you will love this place- especially if you are a solo woman who likes to be yelled at by male employees who ignore you until you are leaving. This place is iconic. One of the oldest coffee shops at the Kona Inn Shopping Village. This place has a lot of character and I absolutely love everyone who works here.
