Honokohau L&l Hawaiian Barbecue

We arrived at around 9:30 PM, just before ten. We asked if it was still possible to order and eat, and they confirmed that it was. The food came quickly, with 3 orders of cheeseburgers (no pickles) and 1 order of sesame chicken. Around 9:45 PM, they started cleaning the bathroom and other empty areas near us with a strong odor of disinfectant. At 9:55 PM, they asked us to leave as they were closing. Despite not finishing our meals, we were asked to leave and ended up eating the rest of our food in the car. The next morning, we all felt sick.

Great eating and some of the most affordable eating on the island. love the rams, the sesam huhn with rice and mac salat is the best. just a few tables to sit so likely best to get out.

I accidentally broke into lunch. my grilled mahi mahi on an salad and aromatized brown rice was class a. the pork was fantastic and plentiful. wife and I shared both meals. prices are very affordable. do not miss this jewel. they go up and order and call them when they are ready.

Good eating, large portions, slow waiting, overall good.

Weirdly some of the best food we had in Hawaii. We came back several times because we loved it so much. Huge quantities and great pricing.
