Seiji and Chie are an enchanting couple who treat everyone that visits their restaurant like family. They radiate warmth and enthusiasm, genuinely enjoying the opportunity to connect with their guests. The restaurant itself is cozy, accommodating just 12 diners, but if you're lucky enough to dine there, you're in for an unforgettable evening. Like many other reviewers, I highly recommend the Omakase, which allows the chef to showcase his skills and serve only the freshest fish available. Each course is crafted with care and expertise by Chef Seiji. Both Seiji and Chie collaborate smoothly to present each dish; while Chie manages the front of the house, she also diligently assists in the kitchen, preparing various dishes alongside her husband. From the homemade miso to the fresh vegetables and, most importantly, the fish, everything is bursting with flavor and freshness. Dining here is a feast for all the senses—not just taste, but also sight, sound, and the ambiance of the surroundings. It was truly a remarkable experience. If you are lucky enough to secure a reservation, you won’t be disappointed. By the way, Chie even went out of her way to call me later that evening to let me know my wife had forgotten her sweater. That’s what I call exceptional service!

AMAZING service and food!!! We ordered Omakase and it was amazing (and super filling). The quality of the seafood was top notch. The couple who own and run the restaurant are so sweet and kind. Definitely will be back! Highly recommend. Reservations only.

In California, we often believe we have great sushi, but this place is far superior to what we’re used to! It's a family-owned and operated establishment, and Chef Seiji along with his wife Chie truly take pride in their craft. If you plan to visit, be sure to make a reservation at least 2-3 days in advance. I highly recommend the Omakase! Go for the $85 option—I’ve tried both the $85 and $65 versions, and trust me, you definitely get more value with the $85 choice! The O-toro is unbeatable; we even had to order extra!
