L L Hawaiian Barbecue - Kahului

Careful with this place. They gave us old stinky mahi mahi. We could not eat it. We had to catch a flight so did not have time to go back. On the other hand, I had a good experience at the location in Kaanapali.

If you?re traveling in Hawaii and like to find places the locals are eating, this is it! We were the only mainlanders in line. I had the ?mini? bbq chicken plate and it was huge and I had leftovers for my next meal. They also had Chinese food and as someone who lived in Asia for a year this was the most authentic looking Chinese food I?ve ever seen at a Chinese buffet! Definitely hope to go back and try the Chinese food!

Lots of choices. Not sure why it's called barbecue as only 2 items in the selection were bbq and its Chinese style bbq. Mostly Chinese food and tastes ok.

For a food court restaraunt the food was not bad. I would recommend a dish with vegetables, which were fresh. The chicken had been sitting for a little while, or it tasted that way. Plenty of seating inside. Nice staff behind the counter but hard to understand with the background noise.

AND SINCE THERES ENGLISH BARRIER, ITS HARD TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM AND EXPLAIN THE SITUATION.
