Alive Well Deli And Juice - Kahului

We stopped at this restaurant right after getting off the flight from the airport. The food was fantastic and we absolutely loved the cheesecake!

I discovered this restaurant on happycow a few years ago and have dined here on a couple of occasions. I recently visited again and wanted to share my updated review of Alive Well. The deli section offers a variety of options including a salad counter, hot food counter, prepared wraps and sushi rolls, and a made-to-order sandwich menu. While not everything is vegetarian, there are vegan choices available such as brown rice with warm vegetables, soup, nori wraps, rice paper rolls, and salads. We opted to take a few different rolls and wraps with us to the airport and were pleased with our selections.

The deli and juice bar offer a wide range of vegan and organic options, from cold kale or quinoa salad to hot dishes like a delicious vegan soup of the day (today's was Italian Lentil) and chickpeas with potatoes, spinach, and coconut milk. They also have raw vegan desserts, green juices, smoothies, and a market of health food products. All prepared food is clearly labeled as vegan, gluten-free, etc, with ingredients listed. Located near the airport, it's a perfect spot to grab a healthy meal before a long flight. I would give it 5 stars, but unfortunately the app doesn't allow me to.

We spent a week in Maui, and after finding Alive and Well we wished we had checked it out sooner. There were not a ton of choices, but those that were available were the best quality we tasted during our stay. The cafe was perfect for take-out, we often grabbed pre-made spring or summer rolls from the cooler, along with raw dips and onion rings (which were phenomenal), and we also ordered from the deli counter. The service was fast and friendly. We especially enjoyed the vegan potato salad, raw kale Caesar salad, and nori wraps. We also enjoyed the raw pies.

This was our first stop after leaving the airport. The food was excellent and the cheesecake was fantastic!
