Kona Country Club - Kahaluu-Keauhou

Pros: Nice golf course with a good layout and some interesting holes. A fair amount of elevation change throughout the course. Nice views. Worth playing if you are staying in the nearby resort areas. Cons: Not worth $180 for a morning tee time. Afternoons are a bit better though still pricey at $100-120. Pace was a bit slower than I would have liked. Can’t hit driver on the range. Could not figure out the greens (not necessarily a con).

Unforgettable golf course with views like no other. Not the best golfer, average 84s, but found it not the most difficult course to play and super fun at my level. Employees were helpful and friendly, nobody gets in a rush which I like. Me and the wife would come back again but this time bring our clubs.

Absolutely beautiful golf course! Maintained very nice from tee to green. Pro shop folks we're great, but their outside service folks could take a lesson or two about how to treat folks paying over 200.00 for a round of golf. It seemed they were more interested with getting me off the course than if I had a good time or not. The maintenance crew had better people skills. I would definitely want to play the course again, but likely won't as I don't want to deal with their valet again.

Best golfing day ever for daughter and I. We'll never forget this course and friendly staff. Fun to see the goats on a few fairways as well (did not get a video of the jumping goat when my ball passed a little too close, LOL).
