1 standard item which is fish soup. Broth is nice, and so are the side dishes. The fish might have some small bones. Staff are polite and guides you what to do when they see you lost.

I was going through a painful hangover from drinking for three days in a row. And then I had this fish soup and I felt much better. This actually is a traditional hangover soup in Korea. It tasted so much like that of my grandmother’s. I almost ordered a bottle of soju while having this meal.

Great place to have a good healthy food at a reasonable price. This small restaurant is not that easy to find cause it’s located in the back alley on the busy street off the road. You’ll see there’s an old wooden-signboard saying “since 1968” over the door. Wow I’m pretty sure there aren’t that many old restaurants which is still successfully running for long years in Seoul. The restaurant serves only one single menu that is a dried -pollack soup. It comes with a bowl of plain rice and you get unlimited refill of side dishes which are already set on the table. I love pickled cucumbers and Korean -chives kimchi of this restaurant. They are not spicy or salty. Just enough seasoning actually perfect match with a gentle dried-pollack soup. And a small bowl of watery-kimchi made of sliced radishes and bae-choo. This is soooooo tasty. I think this bland umami of soup attracts many Japanese visitors. I’ve seen many Japanese coming while I was having a late lunch there. Unlike usual typical Korean foods using lots of raw garlics, it tastes like there aren’t that much of raw garlics in a soup and side dishes. And one more thing the price of this humble but healthy food is only ₩7500 !!! Yep ! Compared to the price of a cup of coffee which is almost ₩5000, it is a really good price.

Awesome authentic fish soup… taste so good and warm during autumn morning… warm our heart. Yum yum
