This place has the best sandwiches and soup in town! Forget about the subway—this is where you want to eat. I really enjoy the lunch combo that includes half a sandwich and a soup. The Clam Chowder is fantastic, but honestly, all the soups are delicious. The staff and owner are dedicated and truly wonderful people. This is my favorite spot to eat!

Excellent hot dog option! When in Juneau, Udder is likely the best place to grab a chili cheese dog. The menu offers limited options for customizing your own hot dog, but you can also enjoy soups, fresh sandwiches, and baked potatoes as part of your meal. The hot dogs are HUGE compared to what you typically find elsewhere, and the prices are very reasonable—especially when feeding a crowd!

This place is pure vanilla. There is no frills or gimmicks. They have great frozen yogurt and excellent chili. The sandwiches are good but a little overpriced. I like the self service situation they have going on. When dining in, after you finish, you must leave your dirty dishes on a cart which is periodically maintained by the staff (which are usually entry level high school kids. Not the best service ever but you can tell they are good kids. It has a tribute to the troops on the far wall near the road entrance. Thank you for that. I recommend the soup of the day, the froyo of the day, and the chili bowl.
