June Lake Brewing

Wonderful little brewery in the Sierras! We've been coming here since they opened (has it been 9 years already?). They serve fantastic beers and always make you feel like family. It’s always a wonderful experience!

We went recently in Oct 2023 and they had this sour beer that they had just released that was absolutely amazing. Huge bummer that they weren't actually selling any cans yet to-go since it was pretty new. Mostly outdoor seating with limited indoor seating for when it gets too cold. Affordable flights and the staff was friendly.

The staff was helpful and friendly, but the beer was not my style. That's a personal choice and the place had several people drinking so it's fairly popular. I was hoping for food, but the only offerings were a couple of food trucks so be aware of what you're getting into. Overall, not my choice, but beer is to everyone's taste so you might want to try it on a thirsty day and see if it works for you!

Couldn’t give this place more than 2 stars because they’re not dog friendly. What kind of lakeside brewery isn’t dog friendly? At least allow with muzzles or something.

This is my first time ever writing a review. I had such a terrible experience here that I actually created an account so that I could write this review. First of all what outdoor brewery with a parking lot full of food trucks have you ever heard of that doesn’t allow dogs? This is the only one. Possibly in the entire world. I missed the sign and walked up to order a beer and immediately was accosted by the mean lady behind the counter for having my very well behaved under 30 pound dog with me. She then tried to sell me a beer that I would have to take away with me saying that there’s no open container laws insinuating that I should consider drinking while driving. I begrudgingly ordered lunch at one of the food trucks which I will say tasted good however while waiting for my food I noticed the entire parking lot was overrun with flies that kept divebombing me. I gotta wonder how sanitary this place is. Don’t come here if you’re just a cool person with a cool dog who wants to have a good beer and enjoy their time in June lake.
