Swordfish Pub - JOSHUA TREE

The beer selection is fantastic and the food was excellent. This cozy pub was a perfect stop on our way back to L.A. If you’re looking for a sign to go, here it is—just do it!

This hidden gem, nestled in the parking lot of an RV park, offers great bar food and cold beer. We tried nearly everything on the menu, and it was exactly what we were looking for—at a much more reasonable price than the other popular burger spot in town. They even have a Beyond Burger option for our vegetarian friends, and my 4-year-old absolutely adored her quesadilla. Both times we've visited, we've been the only ones on the patio, allowing our kid to dance around between bites without bothering anyone. I also loved the Hussong's poster that brought back fond memories from Ensenada and made me crave a margarita, but unfortunately, they only serve beer and White Claw here.

Cozy atmosphere with delicious food and friendly staff, along with a great selection of beers. I can't wait to come back!

So this is kinda the only place in Joshua tree/ 29 palms that you can get a beer at pretty late! The atmosphere was cool, it wasn't too hot in there and they played a little bit of cool music, the people working there were super nice and they have a nice selection of beer. Only giving 4 stars bc I wish there was more a crowd there, other than that it was nice :

Needed a quick bite after a long day of hiking in the park. The burgers were perfect and the staffs were friendly. Seemed like a small family joint. The owner brought out the food himself and came out again to ask how everything was. Highly recommend!
