Contribuiți la feedbackService was great and food came out fairly quickly. It satisfied my craving for Thai food.
Let 's start with the pros. 1. Order cream cheese wontons and those were great. 2. Portions was a decent size. 3. Lots of parking if you go at a decent time. Cons 1. Do NOT order curry. Ordered the pineapple curry and the curry was super watery. Almost like water with food coloring to pretend it was curry. 2. Ordered the glass noodle salad on a bed of lettuce. I specifically told her to put the dressing on the side 2x and she even repeated it to me since we had a long drive back and i didnt want it to get soggy. Guess what!!! They forgot. All she said was sorry, it 's already made . Refer to the photos- Bed of lettuce is not 6 to 7 pieces of lettuce- that doesn 't make it a salad. 3. I asked for their most spiciest dressing and to be honest it was a 3 out of 10. 4. We called in our order at 5:52 pm. They said 20 mins it 'll be ready. We arrived 7 mins after the ready time nd it still wasn 't ready. For 2 items plus side of won tons we waited over 1 hour just to have our meal messed up. Don 't recommend but if you don 't know what good Asian/ Thai food is you might be satisfied.
I've ordered 3 times since change of ownership, in hopes that it's just a one time mess up. But today being my 3rd time, my portion is ridiculous. Panang curry with rice, container for the curry is 3/4 full, same for the rice. They are super stingy with portions now, taste and recipe has changed as well. This is my last time ordering from them. Good luck trying to last as ratings have already dropped.
Try: Pad Thai, Tum Yum Soup, and Bean Thread Salad. Why: After a long day of driving to Joshua Tree we were craving Thai food and this hit the spot. Solid Thai cuisine for a happy belly before bed. Bean Thread Salad was refreshing and had pork and shrimp. Tom Yum Soup was good with large chunks of mushroom and tomato with a few pieces of shrimp. Pad Thai was my favorite as it was flavorful and a large portion. Notes: We came for dinner on the Friday after Thanksgiving so didn't know what to expect from a wait time perspective. Well, the wait was extremely long (1 hr+ as there was one person in front working. She did everything from taking orders, serving food, cleaning tables, and answering the phone. She seemed stressed but also seemed to have chaotic fun. She had to navigate the long line for take out orders and dine in orders. All tables were full and there were 5+ groups waiting to order take out, on top of taking phone orders. I'll be honest, when I walked in and saw dine-in customers eating on plastic-ware it did make me pause, but it was a solid dining experience and worth the wait.
There was nowhere to find a current menu so I 've uploaded the pictures. When I called, the lady said we don 't have our menu online, just come in. I wanted to order take out. So she said, just tell me the Thai food you like, we have most. I didn 't like that so she said look at the old menus online, it 's 90% accurate. Two of the things I wanted (wontons and satay) were no longer on the menu. So I went in to place my order and...wait...and wait...so I could take the takeout. Good times. The ambiance is nothing to share. Block walls and panel drop ceiling remind me of the elementary school I went to. Non-matching, random light fixtures remind me of a grandparents home where they liked (for look or price) the fixtures and just randomly placed them with no care for the environment. If there is any other Thai choice in the area, I will try it next time. (Please note, takeout experience which I know can reduce quality) Just had to update my review from 2 stars to 1 after eating the food. I thought no way I 'd have to reduce to a 2, Thai food is usually pretty good . Wow, this place really leans into the IDGAF mentality. Ordered a few things and none of it was great. The only thing they do well is add spice which I guess is to cover the flavorless food they serve. I took pictures of the lack of chicken in the orange chicken. I don 't see much chicken and it doesn 't really look like chicken. BTW, they mentions it would take longer for the orange chicken...like it was special or something and not from a. Frozen box. We also had drunken noodles, pad see ewe and red curry. The red curry was the only average meal. All the rest was slightly below average at best.
