One must understand that Badrinath is at 10,300 ft. and shut for 6 months. Logistics and fresh supplies is not very easy and so is retaining the trained culinary staff.Despite all these difficulties I have never been disappointed at Saket. It serves the best meal out there in this little temple town. My first visit here was in year 1995 when I was just a little above 8 year old and I still have some memories of it :) It's one of those old places I keep coming back to whenever I visit Badrinath and would love to in future too !
Good and decent food in the pilgrimage place. Dont expect luxury or fine dining in this remote hilly pilgrim place
Our 15 minute-walk from GMVN 500-bed dormitory to the restaurant was worth the effort. The restaurant is situated within 10 minutes walking distance of the main temple. From the window of the restaurant, we can see the colourful temple as well as the beautiful Alaknanda...More
After morning darshan of Lord Badrinath ji, came to this restaurant for breakfast. In the previous night itself we had. gathered that this is the best option available in Badrinath. The restaurant did not disappoint. The stuff was fresh, hot and tasty, worth the money spent. Some foreigners were also enjoying south indian delicacies here. Best thing is it's location.
We visited this restaurant for breakfast while in Badrinath. Just Opposite of temple near parking area. We ordered paratha , Dosa , Pakoda and Tea. All the items were good and fresh.Recommended while your visit in Badrinath.
