Jordan House Tavern - Jordan Station

A nice local pub with average food. Was surprised when I asked for mayonnaise that the waitress said they didn't have any... Seriously?

Standard pub style place. A little dated in atmosphere and the food has been consistently mediocre on our last couple visits. Not bad per se, but nothing stellar either. We only went back out of convenience to our accommodations. There are not a lot of choices in Jordan... staff was nice and service was friendly.

Did not eat in the tavern but selection of beer served was exceptional. Staff were awesome . It was a Sunday night so no live music unfortunately

Always a friendly greeting from the staff. Gerry the bartender is the quintessential bartender, watching him pull pints when the joint is rocking is like watching a performance. The selection of beers on tap, and bottles is what you'd hope for. Many of the Niagara Regions brewers and micro-brewers are represented. The food that comes out of the kitchen is tasty and filling. Try the Cobb salad, the fish tacos, and the blues burger all delish, the wings could be bigger. Also, if very hungry try the fish and chips they're excellent and the sweet potato fries are some of the best anywhere!

Except that our 7-month-old was more interested in the Jays game than Mummy and Daddy (bad news for baby screen time!) we had a very decent meal, good beer and cider, a beer-knowledgeable server, and would recommend the Tavern for a quick bite!
