Hackett Hot Wings - Joplin

Staff was very attentive and wings were so delicious!

The wings were delicious. Plenty of sauce, great flavor. I thought it was a little high priced compared to most places but the quality was there. We sat at the bar and we received good service. The hostess told us she had no idea how long it would take with us third on the list yet tons of open tables. So that was different but spots at bar came available so we sat there. Would absolutely return though.

I have been a customer of hackett's for years and when I was a kid my school bus stop was the front of their business on Langston Hughes I went in tonight for a to-go order I was told it would be a 45-minute wait which I was fine with after waiting 30 minutes a gentleman comes out of the kitchen and says that half of the items on my order could not be completed because they ran out of those items on the menu I was fine with that as well what got me was the lady at the counter proceeded to tell m … – show

The wings were tiny, and the flavors were okay had the hot honey and beer flavors. The fried green beans were good. The quality and quantity are not reflected in the prices. If it were, the cost would be lower. It also doesn't matter if you get 5 or 15 wings. You only get one dipping sauce; then, you must pay.79 for each additional.

I ordered 10 speciality wings, Buffalo Garlic Parmesan, and while the flavors were good, the size of the wings were quite small and lacking meat (very thin). I wish I had taken a picture as I was shocked by how empty the box looked when first opening it. I finished those 10 wings and was left still very hungry and underwhelmed.
