Downstream Casino Resort - Joplin

My wife and I dined here during a holiday weekend, and the place was bustling with activity. We had a great time gaming and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. We both ended up losing $20, but it was still more affordable than going to the movies. What impressed me the most was how diligently the staff sanitized each slot machine after use. We’ll definitely be returning soon!

The casino is stunning and has plenty of space. The games are well organized and not crowded together. Unfortunately, the buffet didn't live up to its price, and other diners expressed similar sentiments while chatting at their tables. Our waiter was very attentive and responsive to our needs. I noticed that the grill section of the buffet was closed, so I asked the cook if it would be opening soon, and he confirmed that it would not.

The concert was fantastic, but the parking situation was a nightmare. Traffic was heavily backed up, and there were no clear exits when we were leaving. I ended up having to park in a field, which took a long time. It took over an hour just to get out of the field, and I still had to navigate through the blocked-off parking area. It took longer to leave than the concert itself!

I planned that to be my divorce celebration with my best man for my wedding and I had a fantastic time. I could not have picked a better place to have a wonderful time! The only thing that could have been better if someone would explain to me rewards and everything I get for going to down streams as a regular customer.

Stayed here for work. Rooms are great. Only downside, was no microwave in room. But does have one by ice machine. So not a big deal. Service was great. Friendly staff. Looking forward to going back in June for work again
