Tried to go in tonight after dinner next door, the girl behind the counter made it very clear we weren’t welcome because they closed in 15 minutes. Turned around and walked out. It doesn’t take fifteen minutes to scoop 4 cones of ice cream that has clearly melted and then refrozen. They got 2 stars because I had been before and not had a bad experience.

Step back in time for delicious hard scoop ice cream, candy, old fashioned soda and fudge. The tastes are free but you do have to pay for a full serving, play your cards right and you can try them all to get your ice cream fix. The setting is beautiful and atmosphere is nostalgic. It is for sure a great stop in your adventuring in the mid-west.

Fantastic ice cream and candy store in the historic Gryphon Building on South Main Street in Joplin. Great place to bring the kids and let them experience ice cream parlors from the “Good Ol’ Days”!! YUM!!

Cute little icecream and candy shop. I loved the building a lot. The ice-cream was a little high but good quality.

Ice cream was really good, but the saltwater taffy we bought was sticky, and not wrapped correctly. Really a fun store though
