Sumo Japanese Steakhouse - Jonesboro

We are visiting from Alabama and stopped by while traveling to Missouri to see family. The food and service were outstanding! This is definitely one of the best hibachi restaurants we've ever tried. We will definitely stop by again next time we're in the area.

The food was enjoyable, but the service left something to be desired. The portion sizes were smaller than expected. While the staff did apologize, there were no adjustments made to our bills. There were many excuses offered. If the service and portion sizes are declining, then I believe the prices should be lowered.

We all had an absolutely wonderful time. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was outstanding, and the food was excellent. Although there was a wait, it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

The meat was tender and juicy, and the fried rice was bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. Parmin made a point to connect with everyone at the table, including the children. Megan provided attentive and knowledgeable service throughout our meal, ensuring we had everything we needed. We also treated ourselves to some delightful drinks; the Peach Strawberry Sangria was refreshing and fruit-forward, while the Volcano Bowl stood out as a spectacular presentation that added to the excitement. The food was exceptional, the drinks were wonderful, and the service was impeccable.
