If you're looking for good fresh food, this is the place to eat. Food is cooked to order and worth waiting. I love the fresh whole catfish and the smoked potato salad. The owner is pleasant and personal and makes you feel like you in their kitchen in their house. You owe yourself to make this stop and try this amazing food. It also has a Sunday menu that licks your fingers. Give them an attempt to tell her that Mrs Toni sent you.

This restaurant serves Chicago-style cooking, but Charmayne has skillfully blended it with classic Southern soul food. Let me tell you, the food is absolutely on point, and I consider myself quite a picky eater. If it’s not well-seasoned, I’m not interested!
