Parry's Pizzeria Taphouse - Johnstown

My group ordered Mac and cheese, pizza, calzone, and a burger. The Mac and cheese was so bland an actually came out lukewarm. Could have used more flavor. I was disappointed. The pizza was mediocre. You?d think since it?s a pizzeria that the pizza wouldat least be good. The calzone was probably the best of everything. The pizza and the calzone did take about 15 min to get to ourtable well after our other entrees were delivered. The bar drinks also took quite a while (20 min). Overall I don?t think I?dcome back here. The atmosphere was nice but the food was just bland and not worth the money.

Good pizza, crust is amazing. Fountain drinks and Lemonade were way overpriced. This place has no sound buffers so I'm sure the decibel level is sometimes high enough to cause damage, even with no music going, if half the tables are full then just thetalking becomes an uncomfortable roar, we barely talked to eachother as it was easier to hear others talking from afar than ourtable. After leaving I realized I was feeling distressed for a few hours and I'm sure it was the noise level- a possible reasonthe waitstaff all seemed stressed, friendly but stressed. My suggestion would be to hire an Interior Designer, they can helpwith the acoustics while maintaining fire codes and aesthetics.

This place is really nice. Their pizza is really good. Service was great as well. If I get the chance I will definitely come back!

Ordered food online. We were told 20 minutes for it to be ready. It took them 40 minutes to get our food out to us. One we did get our to go order we were missing an item and had to wait. Wish the online times were correct. This was hard to wait the extratime twice with a kid. Once we got home the food was okay. We live less than 5 minutes away.

Parry?s was a great stop for dinner and a drink. They have over 100 brews on tap. The pizza is tasty and they have a few different combinations of flavours. They let you split the flavour on a pizza. We got the Brooklyn BBQ and The Pearl. Theserver was also helpful in deciding what we should go with.
