Firehouse Subs - Johnstown

Why give them a stellar 5 star review? When you walk in to this place it energizes you with all of the bright colors and firefighting gear that was donated from the local departments. If I was a little kid, this would be where I wanted to go everything I was out. Secondly, the menu items are very much more thought out than Subway. Sure you can make it your way. But the bread is so much better here than subway. They have literally at least 25 different sauces to add some character to your sub if you are in to the hot stuff, and the small sub is an 8'. I've had 4 different subs so far and haven't been disappointed yet. Highly recommend the cheddar brisket and the steamer if you like pastrami. If you're tired of the cookie cutter sub shop on every corner, check them out.

Visited again yesterday. Subs were delicious! Staff was friendly. Clean restaurant. Food was fresh. Bread was fantastic! Next time, I will be bringing some home! Love that they have small, medium and large subs. Cannot recommend this place enough. Great place!

Go there at least once a week. Have always had a really great experience. Never received a poor customer service experience. Yes, sometimes it is really busy and you have to wait a few minutes.....but you don't want to rush a good thing. Have never been ignored by staff. Always acknowledged and treated with respect. Food, in our opinion is well worth the price and a great value. Good quality meats and cheeses. Like how it is toasted and served. Best pickles, too!

Stopped at Little Ceasar's, but no seating inside, take out place, soooo, went next door to Firehouse Subs. GREAT STROKE OF LUCK! Wonderful place! Beautifully decorated. Delicious subs. Very friendly staff. We live nearly 2 hours away, but we will be back! That brisket sub was one of the best ever!

Great place, great subs, great atmosphere. Love the mural of the incline plane inside.
