Bonefish Grill Johnstown

I dined here last night after receiving a gift card from a friend. I've visited this restaurant at least four times in the past year, but last night's experience was quite different...

I met some long-time friends for lunch that we hadn't seen in a while, and it was truly delightful. We stayed for at least two hours and were never rushed at all.

Every bite of our Anniversary dinner at Bonefish Grill was absolutely delicious! We ordered a pitcher of margaritas and began our meal with the Thai Fried Green Beans... which were just okay.

The service and food were outstanding! The Caesar salad was exceptional—definitely not just another average Caesar salad you find at other places. The dressing was delicious and perfectly balanced, making it stand out. For our main course, we had the Bonefish Signature Pasta and a seafood special featuring scallops and shrimp. Both dishes were delightful! The grilled shrimp had a wonderful charred and spicy flavor. Plus, the portions were generous. Once again, the service was top-notch, and the staff was very friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend all these dishes and this restaurant!

After waiting for about 10 minutes, I spoke to a manager about my concerns. She was quick to respond and introduced Nikki, who took charge of our evening. I truly appreciated their promptness and dedication to customer care. She was very apologetic and friendly, which set a positive tone for the night. We ended up sitting at the bar and ordered drinks—an Old Fashioned and a Winter Cosmo—which were served by 7:25 PM while we settled in. When dinner time came, our waiter Jaren was attentive without being intrusive. He made sure we were taken care of and offered helpful meal suggestions. Although our food took a little while to arrive, we understood given how busy the restaurant was. The Calamari was fantastic, and the Imperial Cod was outstanding—the fillet was cooked perfectly to medium and was delicious. Nikki indeed followed through on her promise to make our evening special. We made sure to tip Jaren, as he did an excellent job. Overall, I sincerely appreciate the efforts of Nikki and Jaren. They made my friend and me feel welcomed and well taken care of, making for a memorable Valentine's Day evening.
