Callums Bar - Johnstone

Good pub grub menu and the food is always excellent quality. Service is also great. The place is looking a little tired though, furniture is worn and the place just needs modernised. Recommend for the service and food quality though!

My husband and I went to Callums this evening for a special Valentine's dinner. It was our first visit since the restaurant was taken over by new chefs. We had a fantastic three-course meal, choosing between the set Valentine's menu and the regular menu. The food was superbly cooked with generous portions, excellent value for money, and the service was professional and attentive, especially from Gillian. We will definitely be returning!

We were recommended this restaurant by a local in Colliers, but unfortunately, they were unable to accommodate us due to a large party. We placed our order at Callum's bar and waited for 45 minutes without receiving our food. Other tables who arrived after us were served before us, and one table even left without paying due to the poor service. We have decided not to return to this restaurant, as it seems that others have had similar negative experiences.

The service at this restaurant is top-notch, with Davey providing excellent service as usual. However, Bridget's behavior of constantly trying to show her underwear was very off-putting. The meringue at this place is the best in the area.
