First time here after always going to their Juneau location. Very nice, clean friendly shop. Best brats in the state

I went to Pernats after a terrible experience at The Meat Market in Milton. Unlike Russ and his crew in Milton the staff at Pernats was courteous, respectful and very helpful. They do a great job with deer processing in all phases. I will definitely be back!

Pernat’s makes a high quality, delicious product. We are so happy with the venison sausage and hamburger they made for us and it only took a week to get it back. BUT the customer service is lackluster. I had never been there to order before and was given zero direction when I came in to order. When I came for pick up, I was clearly an inconvenience to the girl working behind the counter. When she brought out the cart of meat, she shoved it in my direction and she and another man stood behind the counter and watched while I struggled to get 150lbs of frozen meat out the door by myself. The man mildly redeemed himself by helping me get the empty cart back in the door, but maybe he just wanted me out of there. If the employees would try even just a little bit to make customers feel welcome this would be a five star review. I’ll still go back because the product is THAT good but won’t have any expectations for friendly or helpful employees.
