This restaurant offers delicious pizza and sandwiches with vegan cheese and a variety of toppings. The spiralfries are incredible! It's one of my top favorite places to eat at.

I absolutely adore this cozy, locally owned restaurant in my hometown. They offer a variety of vegetarian options that can easily be made vegan upon request. My go-to dish is the spinach burger, a unique homemade veggie patty bursting with fresh flavors like garlic and basil. It's served on a white bean bun with salad and tomato, simply ask for it without the pesto mayo to make it vegan. In addition to this, they have at least three other veggie burger choices and an eggplant sandwich on the menu. There are also plenty of vegetarian appetizers to choose from. Don't miss out on their delicious homemade chips and hummus! The atmosphere is lively and laid-back, with generous portion sizes and affordable prices. While the desserts are not vegan, there are plenty of options to choose from to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Cootie Browns is a unique restaurant located on a great property with delicious food! Their pizzas are fantastic and they offer a gluten-free crust option. We customize our pizzas to be vegan by omitting the cheese. The tamales are homemade and can be made vegan with black beans (the other options contain meat). The mole sauce contains beef broth, but I recommend trying the Jamaican jerk sauce instead, as it is vegan/vegetarian. There are many other vegetarian options on the menu, including a delicious house-made veggie burger with black beans and sun-dried tomato spinach. All of the options are fantastic! My only complaint is that when ordering their pizza without cheese, the staff seemed confused and I had to send it back multiple times despite my request. However, they did refund the cost of the pizza. They have a large selection of bottled beers and a fun, heated terrace for winter dining. Overall, Cootie Browns is one of our favorite places in Johnson City!

This unique neighborhood restaurant is extremely accommodating to vegans. They offer vegan cheese for their pizzas and a delicious black bean burger. The sweet potato fries are a must-try and they also have a kids menu. In addition, they have an impressive selection of non-vegan pies and cakes. It's a great spot for families, particularly for vegetarian children like my 7-year-old daughter who absolutely loves this place.

Served on a wheat bun with lettuce and tomato, simply ask for it without the pesto mayo to make it vegan. They also have three other veggie burger options and an eggplant sandwich. In addition to plenty of vegetarian entrees, their homemade chips and hummus are delightful. The atmosphere is lively and laid-back, with a wide selection of desserts to choose from (although unfortunately none are vegan). Prices are very reasonable, and portions are generous.
