Southern Brews Coffee - Johns Island

This place has the best coffee and is just what I needed today. The coffee was immaculate. I got one of their croissants and it was amazing. It was flaky and warm. I highly recommend this place.

I ordered an iced latte for someone else?..they handed me a hot latte which did not click to me as being wrong until I had pulled forward slightly?..so I could not back up as car behind me had advanced?..so I drove back around waited and then toldthem the issue at the order window and they made me go back around and wait in the pick up line behind 4 slowly processed cars. I was only visiting the area but won?t go back. The system would be improved.

The food and drinks were fantastic! We paused for a light lunch after visiting the angel tree. Those flavored Red Bull drinks were incredible—seriously, why don’t more places offer them? For those who don’t drink coffee, they are just perfect and so refreshing! The service was excellent as well; everyone was very helpful and friendly!

The staff here is incredibly friendly! I ordered a dirty chai latte, but it turned out to be a bit too sweet for my taste. However, they happily remade it with more milk when I requested. If you’re not a fan of sweet drinks, I recommend asking about the sweetness level when you place your order. Overall, my breakfast sandwich was also very delicious, and I would definitely recommend it!

The restaurant has a drive-thru, and the staff were very courteous. However, I found the coffee to be a bit too mild for my liking.
