Myzenes - Johns Creek

I used to love this place. The food was delicious. Sadly, it is closed, it reminded me of my home on the West coast of India. This was the most genuine experience I had out side India. I really hope they open soon.

I had to review this closed restaurant as I have had so many good memories here. Being next to Suvidha, it was a given that I would buy groceries in Suvidha and eat here or do a takeout. The Goan owner and cook from Kerala would belt out some really awesome food. I loved the flavor and presentation of the food. The used to have R Laxman cartoons on the wall depicting Goan life which was vintage life. Mom and I came here several times and each time the owner came and talked to us. Mom and I were sad when this closed. Really good restaurant, always felt like we ate in a friend's home, hope they open elsewhere again. Mom and I would go there for sure.

Best Goan food on this side of the Atlantic! It's authentic Goan food at its best. Give it a try.

Delicious, fresh and authentic tasting Goan food, home cooked flavor and wonderful service from a gracious host. I was born and brought up in Goa so was thrilled by this culinary experience.
