Contribuiți la feedbackRather by chance, as a family, we have encountered this little restaurant. A small but rustic restaurant room where fresh cooking is still possible. Very good cook and very friendly hospitality. Good German cuisine, we were all thrilled.
Cosy cute sticks. The food tastes, the innkeepers are nice, have a smile on the face and tell so many funny stories. From here you can make yourself well strengthened for a hike on the way. A thick oven gives warmth and you should not forget to taste the house snack.
Due to the tripadvisor recommendations, we returned to the Hutzenstub on a day with thick snow blowers and found ourselves spontaneously in a small GDR-close restaurant. It burned the fireplace and the host welcomed us in a rather way that the two other big tables were full and could therefore last. For the same reason we were allowed to sit on the regular table right in front of the counter. At the end, it went much faster, as the boss in the kitchen worked out the orders in blocks and sent all the same dishes together at all tables. Hies, you got your dinner at the table a short time, but it was quite fast. The dishes were traditionally simple, deliciously prepared. We had Gulasch with dumplings and a Danish schnitzel with roast potatoes (according to Wirt an original recipe from a GDR cookbook). The host was really open with his nice way and his wife, who cooked, did a great job! The ambience corresponded to our childhood memory of old GDR days, but was compensated or supplemented with kindness of the host.
In search of a snowy restaurant in Johanngeorgenstadt, we came to the “Sockendorfer Hutzenstub”. We found: A cozy, well-heated guest room, a caring and superb host, delicious regional pils from the barrel and a history of national rank (THE HOLZMICHEL!!!). The food surpassed this positive first impression and revealed our originally moderate expectations as pure pride. Lambskin, Roulade, Schnitzel, everything tasted, all delicious, homemade and plentiful. To round off an in-house brandy after old secret recipe, great! Luckily there is plenty of spout in the beautiful Erzgebirge. The best way to get back to the “Sockendorfer Hutzenstub”...
With friends I came to the beautiful Johanngeorgenstadt in the Erzgebirge. In our accommodation (the youth hostel in the village) we recommended the restaurant of the Kunz family, the Sockdorfer Hutzenstubn . This evening we were the only guests and were warmly welcomed. The host took us a fresh fedler and recommended his lamb with lumps and red cabbage this evening. There was another goulash soup for me. Both dishes were excellent, the beer very tasty and also the schnapps like the house we enjoyed very well. At the end, there was a plate of fresh fat strains for all those who once dedicated one of their songs to the edge, and that was written in this restaurant. At Klaus in the socksdorfer Hutzenstub in Johanngeorgenstadt.
