Thava Indian - Johannesburg

Service and food seems to have slipped a little since my last visit. The restaurant was also less full than before. Prices have increased by a large percentage, perhaps the reason people feel the value for money is no longer there.

It’s a shame I didn’t get to visit the restaurant but I am so glad I took take away! The food was very yummy and so happy to see that there was a variety of dishes from north to South Indian! Loved the chilli chicken and butter naan. If in Johannesburg defo one to try!

Best indian food I've had in the joburg area thus far! The hilight is that they used fresh veggies in their vegetarian dishes and cook them to perfection. Alot of indian restaurants used frozen veggies but this places sets the bar higher by using fresh vegetables and perfectly seasoning their food! My only qualm is that their naan portions are very small. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with any of their dishes.

Consistently excellent food. I had the most delicious lamb curry. Friendly and efficient service and staff.

Thava is Excellent. The food is delicious, when you order take aways its super efficient, staff are friendly and great atmosphere when you eat in, the food is just a cut above all other Indian restaurants we have tried (and there's been many). Keep it up Thava we are fans.
