Here you can enjoy both breakfast and dinner while staying at the attached inn. The food was wonderful, the beverage selection and drinks themselves were both great, decor, vibe, atmosphere, all very appreciated. I can't say enough how excellent the service was (thanks to Devon! . I would give her 6 stars if I could??????

Food was excellent, although a little slow, service was great, our host was sweet and helpful.

Great disappointment from the beginning. We ordered 2 beers, a water, bruschettta appetizer, and 2 burgers. Spouse asked for medium well Underground Steak Burger) and I asked for medium rare Broadway Burger. The description of my burger was spicy raspberry bacon jam and hot cheese. I've never had the jam and I'm glad to try. We were asked how to cook them when we ordered them. It was medium rare and my was well done. Not as we had ordered at the beginning of the order. No spices at my burger, asked to compensate for hot sauce. They put marked toothpicks into the burgers in photos) for the skill that burgers is what. So I realize that was a chef's mistake. Spouse asked for another beer when we got the burgers. I never got the water I asked, and we never got our appetizers. We let the server know so that it can be removed from the bill. When I got the bill, pic attached, there was a fee for 4 beers, not 3, which was ordered. You can also see how the wrong congratulations were on the bill. Very disappointed about the hype we received before arrival. I'm ready to let some things slide, but 4 problems is a big thing for me. Anyone who has read my previous reviews from other institutions knows that I'm fair when it comes to the matter, and I'm ready to go back and try again. I understand everyone has a bad day, but that was too extreme for me. To finish something positive, the staff was nice, place was spotless and very attractive.

First I want to say that Susan, the server on the grill is so sweet, helpful and amazing! If we were to check on their service, this would be a five star evaluation. But my friend ordered a?peach martini? what texture can only be described as ?sandy? It was almost rough and didn't taste good. We just asked our server if we could exchange the drink for something else, and she reacted that she would check for us. Moments later, the manager named Karen approached our table and evaluated my friend essentially. Instead of being a polite and accommodating professional, she said, "We contain the ingredients for every drink for a REASON? among very other unkind statements. We were all in shock. I've never been in a facility that approached her diner in this way. It is safe to say that we will not return to this restaurant. Shame?s in the heart of Jim Thorpe and they have a beautiful ambience and location! Karen's attitude really ruined our experience in this restaurant, and to be honest, our afternoon.

Food was great. The waitress was really nice and accommodating and not rude or impatient like at alot of places. They have a nice BBQ special, got the chicken and shrimp BBQ.. delicious smokey flavor. The drinks were excellent.. Don't remember the name of the cocktail but it had bourbon and some type of house made berry simple syrup, perfect combination of strong yet flavorful, sweet, and tart. If your in Jim Thorpe this has to be one of the best options to get some quality food and drinks.
