Bavaria Stuberl - JESOLO

Very pleased with my food I ordered the Bavarian style steak and a beer (which was from a proper Bavarian brewery). The food was tasty, the beer was cold and the service excellent. Iwould recommend it.

My wife and I spent a weeks vacation in beautiful Lido di Jesolo, a very touristic place with hundreds of hotels and restaurants to choose from.. and in this bees nest of places to go and places to choose, we discovered the Bavaria Stüberl restaurant by chance, and ended up going there 3 times during our week in Jesolo. If it were up to me I would have gone all of those days during our stay. Smiling and welcoming staff greets you, and shows you to your bavarian style table and seating, and are cheerful and attentive all the way though. The extremely friendly owner is usually there working the tables himself, along with his professional and effective staff. The restaurant is decorated in a bavarian/tyrolean style, borderline south german/austrian, and there was live music every night that gave the restaurant a true feel of bavaria, with everything from popular music to german folk songs. Great authentic atmosphere, but if you prefer a more quiet environment you should go before 8 pm. We enjoyed the band that was there, and the way the restaurant came even more alive with the music. The menu is huge and concists of different types of meats, seafood, salads and pasta/pizza, from mainly the continental european cuisine, and a good selection of beverages and beer. We tried both meat and seafood, and everything was lovely, wonderful potatoes, sauce and meat every time, some served with german style bits of bacon and onion, which was a nice touch. The salad we tried was also wonderful. All very tasty and reasonably priced in the heart of the touristy main street of Jesolo. After the dinner we were always served a complimentary drink, for example a shot of lemon or melon cream liqour. Food and drinks were always delivered with a minimum of waiting time, and the bill also came quickly on request. I also noted that this restaurant does not charge the thypical italian service fee that the other restaurants we visited put on our bill. I can warmly recommend this restaurant to any visitor going to Lido di Jesolo.
