They now serve sandwiches with cashew cheese (which was delicious), fava bean dishes (light and tasty), pastries, alcohol, and soft drinks (I got two cups of mocha because it was so good!). Most of the menu is vegan-friendly. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is upbeat. We had breakfast here on a quiet Saturday morning when the city was empty of locals and tourists, and the experience was wonderful. If you're in Jerusalem, I highly recommend visiting this place and showing your support. I personally love this restaurant for its extremely friendly service, sense of freedom, and delicious food. It's not easy to find a place in Jerusalem where you feel so comfortable. The restaurant is conveniently located in the city center and is open every day. While it is vegetarian, most dishes can be made vegan.
The restaurant is a charming café with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very helpful in explaining the menu options. The vegan desserts were delicious and perfect for a relaxing treat.
A wonderful and inclusive safe place. I loved the kindness of the staff, the institution, and was so excited to have a variety of vegan options clearly marked and communicated. The room is small and cozy. They are one of the only places that remain open during the Sabbath days so that it can be quite busy at this time. Downside is a barista slams the portafilter way too hard many times per batch, which makes really loud banging sounds in small space every 1-2min. We were all in cafes with regular kitchen sounds, but that was extra and unnecessary above the top. This is hard to work/tudy. But still one of my favorite places. I recently dined at a quaint café located off of Jaffa Street that offers a variety of vegan dishes. I ordered the artichoke sandwich, which was delicious, and also tried the cucumber salad as a side, which was fantastic!
Had a lovely experience here. I ate the artichoke sandwich (warning it’s HUGE! and their carrot cake, which was delicious. The menu is veggie and nothing is labelled vegan, but our waitress was lovely and recommended dishes for me to try.
