Sarku Japan - Jersey City

The food arrived two and a half hours late. We were kept waiting as the delivery time kept getting pushed back. After an hour of this, we grew frustrated and decided to order from UberEats instead. Unfortunately, the Grubhub app wouldn’t let us cancel our order, and then, after waiting another hour and a half, the food finally arrived. To make matters worse, it wasn’t even good. I received mushy rice instead of noodles, and the portions of protein were quite small. This was definitely not the Sarku I remembered enjoying at one time. I won't be returning, and after this experience, I’m likely switching to UberEats because of the fees Grubhub charged without reimbursement and the difficulty I had in canceling my order.

After waiting for an hour without any updates, we became frustrated and decided to order from Uber Eats instead. Unfortunately, the Grubhub app wouldn't allow us to cancel our order, so we ended up waiting an additional hour and a half before our food finally arrived. When it did, it was a letdown. They sent me mushy rice instead of noodles, and the portions of protein were quite small. This isn’t the Sarku I used to enjoy, and I definitely won’t be returning. After this experience, I’m also considering switching to Uber Eats for my future orders because of the fees Grubhub charged and didn't refund, along with the difficulties I faced in trying to cancel my order.

The teriyaki chicken was fantastic! I deducted one star because they were too reluctant to even offer customers water.

Super rude and food is awful.They need to learn what manner is. Very disappointed with the service and food quality.AVOID this place.

I can't believe how rude the workers are here. Tasty food but I'd honestly recommend delivery for this place just so you can outsource dealing with the workers.
