Papa Johns Pizza - Jersey City

My order arrived on time, but that was only the right one with the order. the pizza was quite terrible, underboiled and extremely thinly encrusted (I had not ordered thinly encrusted). When I called him to ask if he could bring it to my apartment, he said he had already gone. if papa johns fees $4.99 in shipping costs and a 15-20% tip, I think it is reasonable to expect the order to be delivered to my apartment unit and not have it in the lobby. I may still order from papa john’s in the future, but I am personally finished with this particular place.

Exact ordering and fast delivery. they deliver in less than 30 minutes in the Newport area. for several years they have been ordered from here, follow covid protocols for packaging and delivery.

I was pleased that the business felt more like a traditional New York style pizza shop from years ago. It had the correct smells and atmosphere that only a true pizza lover could understand.

Nothing to do with the Location or the employees I think they’re probably both probably fine. However the pizza is worse than frozen food I’d pick out of a dumpster at ShopRite and then reheat myself. There was so much grease it leaked through the pizza box and the Dough was wet
