Larsen's - Jersey City

This is a very cozy spot. The staff were both efficient and incredibly friendly. My favorite was the cornbread. We had a large family gathering with a few kids, and Larsen, Monique, and Shantee went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was served hot and was absolutely delicious. This was my first visit to Jersey City, and a friend recommended this place. I'm so glad we decided to eat here! Food: 5/5

I've visited this restaurant twice, bringing some cheese grits for a sick friend in the hospital. The first time, my husband went in and noted that it was clean, and my friend really enjoyed the grits. This morning, I went back for the same dish, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two lovely young ladies with the most welcoming smiles. It really made me feel comfortable and intrigued. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious. The service was quick and friendly, and the menu offered a great variety of options. I'll definitely be returning, and the prices were very reasonable.

I went in on a Thursday to place a large order for a brunch on Saturday. I was easily accommodated. The staff communicated with me throughout the process, asking how I wanted it. The order was neatly packed ready for pickup when I arrived Saturday afternoon and the chef and staff helped me to the car. They gave such a warm, welcoming feeling. My family loved the food! The pans were clean after lol We had salmon cakes, shrimp, grits, eggs, home fries waffles. All condiments came with the order! 10/10 highly recommend. It’s a diner, not fast food, so of course you’ll have to wait on your order.

Nice and quiet, never to busy the food is always fresh...and they always give you a complimentary piece of that delicious cornbread .Parking: No problem finding a parking space.Wheelchair accessibility: You don 't have to climb up any stairs, you can just roll right in.
