Henry's On The Hudson - Jersey City

The lookout was great and eating was very good. I ordered a ny strip (rare) and it actually came rare! the taste was great. our table was a little removed, although the little had an effect on our server, he came to us just enough that we never felt forgotten. on our table there was a bit of a damp smell that could have been due to its proximity to the kitchen. the prices of the menu items were good, not to kill their wallet.

We have eaten at Henry's in the past and have enjoyed it every time. Same for this time. Problem we had was the food coming out, very long. They were very busy but 35 minutes waiting for salads and sandwiches is a little much.

Food and waitress was great. The only problem service was way too slow for a work lunch. It took us 1 1/2 hrs. somehow this was not taken in to consideration.

We were told this was more of a lunch restaurant but during our stay in Jersey City we ate dinner here 3 nights in a row. The food and service is good and the outdoor seating offers a spectacular view of the NY skyline. We couldn't get enough of it! The staff is attentive and the price is very reasonable.

Well, I was kinda annoyed that the host walks in and ignores the fact of me waiting to be seated. Instead, he attends to the lady who was standing behind me. I didn't make a big deal over it but still made me feel slighted. When he came to seat me, they had initially gave my reserved table to the woman. The hostess realized there wasn't another table as I requested. As a result, they had taken the woman from my table requested. Then, sat me down to that table.
