Very good sandwiches, and the pasta is good too. Nice casual spot to sit in or takeout. The proprieter is friendly, and they have some fun regulars.

Since the onset of COVID, their hours have changed, and they now close earlier, just a heads up. This hidden gem offers incredibly delicious sandwiches at reasonable prices. Everything is super fresh and always satisfying. I highly recommend trying their Philly cheesesteak with all the toppings. I usually call ahead for pickup, and my order is always ready when I arrive—plus, the sandwich is consistently perfect. The owner is really laid-back and respectful. My family has been visiting this restaurant for the past 30 years, and I finally got the chance to experience it myself last month. It was fantastic! We ordered the cold American roast beef and the hot American pastrami with cheese. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the food, but I promise to upload some next time I go. I was pleased to see that half of the dining tables were available, which is nice. The owner was friendly and even recognized my family when we arrived—he has an impressive memory!

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Jersey City. They can prepare omelets exactly how you like them, and the staff is incredibly friendly!
