La Campesina Market Jerome

I used to really enjoy dining here, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. Today, we spent $42 for two buffets that had very little variety. I've even suggested to my husband that he should start getting his homemade tortillas from the taco wagon in Twin Falls instead.

We absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. The service is excellent; our waitress was incredibly attentive. They even prepared a special dish not listed on the menu that my husband requested, and it was incredible! I also want to highlight how much I enjoy stopping by spontaneously to order two take-out servings of nachos. They're a perfect last-minute dinner option, and extremely affordable! I usually get the shredded beef for myself and the ground beef for my husband. They are both filling and delicious!

Additionally, our waitress seemed to have a bit of an attitude. She would often jump in to finish our questions with assumptions before we were done asking. I think improving customer service could really enhance the dining experience. On a positive note, the owner came out to greet us, which is something you don't see often in many restaurants. I truly appreciate that personal touch.

I visited the restaurant for lunch/dinner and ordered taquitos, clearly specifying that I wanted rolled-up, deep-fried tortillas. Although the staff seemed to understand, they ended up bringing regular tacos, which I found unappetizing and didn't eat. The server didn't apologize or show any concern about the mistake; instead, she just mentioned that what I wanted was referred to as flautas.

The food is decent. During my first visit, I found two hairs in my meal. However, I decided to give it another chance, and my experience was much better the second time around.
