Drift Kitchen - Jensen Beach

Great overall experience. the restaurant has a really beautiful aesthetic and beautiful view of the beach. our server was attentively friendly and the eating and cocktails were really good. I highly recommend it.

Eating was excellent. beautiful atmosphere. but not the best server so that the evening is influenced.

Beautiful hotel inside and outside in great location. eat them inside or outside. in the interior is richly decorated and the bar is definitiw raised. although the reservation provided for inside when asked, they are outside table with views of pool and beach. the menu is well balanced and offers good selection of healthy eating. the hummerbisque was excellent as the salat. service was excellent. my wife loved the flat brote she had agreed to the waiter, and he brought more to the table. Drinks are well appreciated in consideration of the atmosphere. we went back twice and will go back

Scallops and crabcakes are good. everything else is sub par resort food. our ratios of brot was laughing. we had two small end pieces. our plate had significantly less broth than other tables. only a small glass of water we had to ask ourselves. we had 2 minutes with the drink card. After we ordered drinks, we never saw it again. our server could not have been less interested in offering any form of hospitality. when we asked for their opinion on two different ways, they answered in rudely: “They are different.” we were flown through our meal. it is a shame that this place gets good reviews.

We went here as we were staying at the resort. We had 530 reservations and did not get seated till 545, seated everyone else in front of us with the hostess saying she just put someone in the area she was going to seat us and didn’t want to overwhelm the server? When we did get seated the only thing on the table was a salt and pepper shaker. No napkins, utensils, water, nothing. Service was very disjointed by our server who was very nice but time in between her coming to our tables with drinks, taking our orders, was just too long. We asked with the specials were and she had no idea. For such a nice restaurant they really need to do a better job with service. Someone should be setting and cleaning the tables, someone else should be on water duty, someone else should be on drink duty, someone else should be on food duty, etc. I understand the food service industry got hit hard with Covid and they’re still not an ample supply of servers out there but in this case it seemed like there were plenty of servers standing around. As for the food, it was phenomenal. We had the crab cake appetizer, homemade past dinners and it was amazing. Ingredients tasted fresh, flavor was through the roof. It was so good the next night we ordered room service from The Drift as we spent the day on the water and was exhausted from being out. We got salads, burgers, also fantastic. So, if you don’t have overly high expectations for service and have plenty of time to chill, I highly recommend. If you’re super uptight and want to be waited on hand and foot on the drop of a dime, probably not the time to visit. Again though, the food to die for.
