Stammtisch - Jennings Lodge

Was really looking forward to going here with my family for a while, since we are from Germany. We made reservations for 10 (the minimum is 8) and were surprised that they didn't really have any tables that seated more than 6, when they say they charge $20 for anyone that ends up not showing up on top of that. Good food, good taps and good service. The menu seemed limited. The last time I was there was prepandemic, and I remember more choices.

The restaurant was very nice. We sat and ate at the bar. But the food was hit and miss. My friend had the pasta (very good). It didn't come with anything else so I shared my food......she didn't like it any more than me. I had the jagerschnitzel (someone dropped the salt shaker in the gravy), blue cabbage (too vinegar — couldn't get fork to mouth without coughing), spazel (very good) and potatoe salad (too smoky but eatable).
