Momiji Sushi Restaurant — Barbur

Edit 11/20: last few times I’ve had super yummy cucumber salad! Thank you for fixing that. Fresh sushi and tastes great, but the cucumber salad needs a little help. It isn’t very fresh.

The sushi is fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. During the winter plan on take out as the indoor seating is limited and cramped. In the summer the outdoor seating is fine although the noise from Barbur Blvd detracts a bit. The counter staff (where you order) are helpful,, friendly, and seem to know the menu very well. A nice experience overall.

My go to sushi spot. Reliable, good deals, friendly people.

EDIT ON 8.16.2021 — These guys responded to my original review below with helpful input. Definitely going to try them out again in the near future. We were super excited about this place but a little disappointed. The California rolls use fake imitation crab but didn't state this and we didn't see an option for actual crab.
