What could possibly go wrong with a birthday meal in one of the top-rated Portland restaurants? Guided by Michael Zusman’s fawning Willamette Week review, I had made reservations days in advance, and our party of four was promptly seated that night. Amazing food and drinks, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Fabulous location for a date night.

Went to Dame for a family dinner and it was delicious! We ordered the saffron risotto, the squid ink spaghetti, and a few appetizers like the focaccia and the broccolini. The flavors were amazing and not one dish was disappointing, all were standouts. The service was also really good and our server was very attentive and accommodating. I would absolutely come back.

High quality food. Well thought out flavor combinations. Dined in a pretty small basically bar sized room with ~8 tables. Service was great, music was great, food was great

A huge note of thanks to Dame staff for such amazing and memorable night for my parents' 50th. Planning and communication for the event was 6 months in the making! Service was lovely, flexible and sensitive to the nuanced needs, including health, of the event. Food was scrumptious (I still dream about the beef carpaccio) and my parents were blown away and so very touched.
