Bunk Water - Jennings Lodge

The cook was so consider with the timing of our food. We ordered an Italian sub and the loaded tots (soooo good) but the sub was out a few minutes before the tots. To make up for the few minutes, the cook brought out some extra tots for us to eat while we waited. He went above and beyond without having to. It’s a great place to eat

Good food. Very slow service. Even slower than the usual Portland slow. Plus they don’t open until noon for lunch. There are plenty of other places to eat in Portland that know how to make good food AND provide good service. I’ll be visiting one of those establishments next time.

Lucky the Bunk bar was right there when the freight train stopped on the tracks for over an hour last week! Was able to leave my car, run in for a cocktail and drink it on the side walk covered patio while waiting. Super friendly and fast service. Plus they don't use that nasty white grapefruit juice, it's pink. Tito's and grapefruit is my drink!

We had The Bunk Cubano, Meatball Parmesano Hero and Loaded Mac Cheese. The meatball sandwich and Cubano were both so delicious, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. (Actually, I wanted to try the Pork Belly Cubano, but it was not on the menu. The lemonade was delicious with real lemons shaken into it.
