Bridge City Pizza - Jennings Lodge

The Italian sausage sandwich I got was outstanding and the gentleman working the shop was top notch friendly. Great laid back little shop with solid food. I will definitely be stopping by here again when I'm in the neighborhood.

This could be good but you guys gotta chill out on the toppings, it's way too much. It's messing up the crust.

I've tried all the Italian beef sandwiches in Portland and Bridge City has my #1 favorite. The beef is tender, but has a little chew. The joos is peppery in that way it is supposed to be. The peppers, both sweet hot, were excellently made and presented. I like that they charge extra for cheese, because this practice should be discouraged. Cheese does not go on Italian beef. Good food and friendly staff. Worth the visit for sure.

Best pizza in town. This is the “other Chicago style” right here. I wish it weren’t the only place in town that does pizza like this but they do it perfectly.
