Contribuiți la feedbackSuper friendly owner talked to us about her love too soho. especially the bibimbap. not the easiest place to find, but if they follow their map, it leads to an office building with jeju bank, simply through the street away on the right side.
2nd review: They refused to serve us because we were visiting during covid-19 pandemic. They refused any guests from outside Jeju Island. They even refused to give takeout food. We were very disappointed and will not come back. 1st visit review: The food was fantastic. Coming from the main road it was located on the ground floor and pretty easy to find for us. Just pass the elevator (to your right) and walk to the back of the building. Also had very good company which I met by accident on the way to the restaurant.
Even using the other reviews for guidance it was hard to find; we parked near the bowling alley, went through it, then upstairs to find the restaurant. A sign said that the restaurant was closed, but the owner saw us and said we could come in. The restaurant is snug and seating is traditional, on the floor. I had a delicious bowl of perilla seed soup, and the banchan were tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food.
*Their kimchi is NOT vegan. Has fish sauce in You can tell them that you are vegan and they will only give you vegan side dishes. If you dont like seaweed tell them in advance so that they dont bring it out. They only have three menu of which we tried two (soft tofu soup and perilla seed sujebi (wheat dough in creamy soup and they were all really good! It might taste bland kn the beginning since its not salted strongly but the tofu and perilla seed taste was deep and flavorful. All their side dishes were tasty too! Will try their bibimbap next time. Bibibap also seem to come with a side of mini sujebi. Oh the sujebi has seaweed (wakame) in but doesnt taste that strong. The place might be difficult since it doesnt have a sign outside to find but trust the map and go into the building and the place is on the ground floor, back of the building next to the bathrooms. Its a tiny place and can be busy around noon. . , ! 5-10 . ! . 1 .
I am really disappointed that I can not give this restaurant 5 stars while it is not fish or meat served. the menu is small, but it guarantees quality! the bibimbap was one of the best I had in korea and I was also delighted with the quantity and quality of the side dishes. I think the banchans made this restaurant really great (especially the purple jeon, I would come back only for them the dame that seemed to run the kitchen alone was also really nice and even gave me mais to go. I never had so much food for this cheap, and all the sweetness she served was so fresh and tasty: this restaurant deserves 10 stars!
