Taste Of Caddo - Jefferson

This is a cute little hole-in-the-wall kinda place. The wait staff was friendly and courteous but unfortunately the food was horrible. We ordered the onion rings (absolutely tasteless), the shrimp Po boy and the chicken sandwich. Everything was waaaayover cooked. The chicken was tough and the shrimp chewy. To make matters worse, it took nearly half an hour to get our food. Ourwaitress was kind and apologetic and I wouldn't have minded the wait if the food wasn't so bad. YMMV.

3/26/3021 Breakfast, we order: Coffee Egg omelette Egg on biscuit. The food overall is good. Is a simple meal with good taste. Coffee is served with small packet power creamer.

Service was excellent. Fried shrimp was extra large and delicious. Etouffee over fish (Southern Comfort on the menu) was very tasty. Tarter sauce was a little too sweet, but this place was wonderful!!! Ahhh, Beignets with chocolate and honey. Really good too.

Stopped in because of the reviews and it seemed like an interesting place. The sign said Wait To Be Seated so we stood as people were checking out and workers were moving around. A waitress and another worker looked at us, but no one said they would be with us in a minute. We stood for a little longer and then left. I'll have to take the reviews word about the food. It's rare that I rate a restaurant this low, but my time is too important for poor service.didn't seem to care if I was there or not. Too many other places to eat in Jefferson.

Had to wait to get a place. I have to do with it. but two tables sat after me and got commanded there and my wife and I waited for order. had to go and go somewhere else!
