Jq's On High - Jefferson City

My fiance and I drove 45 minutes to try JQ's on High Street at the suggestion of my father in law. We were not disappointed. We both had their famous burger with cheese and bacon, both had fries and I had their cucumber salad. It was delicious. The food was prepared perfectly, everything was flavorful, and neither of us left hungry. Everything was very fresh, the employees were friendly, and the space was clean. We talked about the quality of their food the entire ride home. Their dining area only seats approximately 16 people, so this isn't a place you want to take a crowd. However, if your party is just two or three people, if you can take it home, or grab it and go to the park you should stop. We will be driving back for another meal.

I had the DAT honey wings and they were amazing! The sauce is sticky and sweet. The wings have good seasoning and the fries were hot and crispy and fluffy on the inside. I’ll definitely be back and I highly recommend. The owners/cooks are amazing…personable, kind and friendly.

Food was excellent! Got the street corn nachos, and they actually replaced the pulled pork with shrimp for me! (it was a Friday during lent). They have several gluten free options, which is nice as I have Celiac and there aren't a ton of gluten free food places in town.

Only for a few hours in the city we wanted to find something from the beaten away to eat. I can't be happy with our choice anymore. the workers, especially the kerl at the switch were very friendly and welcoming. everything we ordered was amazing, and my children announced that the best wings and the best burger they had ever eaten. I and my gf had the porcocalypse and it was amazing. we will definitely visit again when we return to jeff city.

Jqs is a hidden little local gem with just a few tables and a walkable system. eating is absolutely amazing. we had the wings, pulled poros, garnelen tacos, garnelen po boy, and the gurkensalat. everything was on the spot! They should check it!
