Schnitzelbank Catering - Jasper

They did an awesome job with the Oktoberfest in Evansville! I've gone to the Schnitz in Jasper many times, so of course you know the food is going to be good. Fried chicken, German fries, and the spatzle were all excellent.

My hubby wanted me to have a day off so we ordered the Thanksgiving meal, the food was amazing! I loved how organized the staff was to get you in and out. Not to mention time away from their families to do this. So our family thanks you for not only the amazing food and attentive staff. Happy thanksgiving

Huge portions! I mean HUGE!!! Authentic German food in a cool atmosphere. The Manhattan Roast Beef (aka open faced roast beef sandwich) was just like Grandma's. The thing that puzzles me and keeps me from giving 5 stars is the apple strudel. I am the granddaughter of the best cook in NW Ohio (German ancestry) and a pastry chef (trained by an old school German chef) and I know how to make strudel. It doesn't matter if it's apple, peach, cherry, whatever; strudel is made by layering fruit and thin flaky pastry. Icing is a bonus, but not necessary. The apple strudel served here had a cookie like crust, about 3 of sliced apples, and a thick buttercream ish icing on top... No light flaky layers of pastry in sight... However the triple chocolate cheesecake was amazing!!!

Schnitzelbank Catering did my entire wedding a few weeks ago. The food was phenomenal. The servers, the cook and the bartenders were very professional and absolutely amazing. Every attention to detail was made and everything ran smoothly. I would definitely hire them again if needed and recommend to anyone who was in search of a cater. 5 GOLDEN STARS

The food is always great. Green beans a hair bland but turkey and dressing was fantastic!
