Rising Smoke Bbq - Jasper

This place normally has good food. It doesn't make up for poor service and when the food is cold. We waited 35 minutes for our food Friday night. We were wondering if they forgot us since the waitress never came back after taking the order til she brought the food. My coffee had a piece of tape in it. Our food was cold like it had been sitting there and my order was wrong. At this point I just ate it. The servers appeared to be high school age and more interested in talking to friends than waiting on customers.

We were looking forward to eating here. My husband had heard several good reviews. Unfortunately, our dinner fell short. My girls liked their pork sandwich and smoked ham sandwich. However, the ribs were really tough. The end my husband ate from was a little better than my end (we halved a rack), but I couldn 't eat them. We also got a pound of pulled pork. It was OK. I pushed everything aside and went a made a salad instead. Maybe it was an 'off ' night.

This place is amazing. Some of the best bbq I've ever had! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely delicious BBQ pork and chicken! We just happened to stop by from hiking in Bankhead one afternoon then drove from Birmingham to get more!!! Excellent customer service as well.

Excellent BBQ. Just stopped by and grabbed pulled chicken sandwich for lunch. A1 first rate! Will def be back.
