Sunwapta Falls Restaurant - Jasper

Just off Route 93, and just before the Sunwapta Falls (coming from Jasper) this place is perfect for lunch. We took a bowl of the beef stew and the chilli. Wonderful. Served with a chunk of bread each these bowls were filling and extremely tasty. Highly recommended.

Nestled unassuming along the highway, the restaurant was exactly what was needed for a cute lunch and respite after a day of driving and sightseeing. Baked goods, soup counter, sandwiches and cook to order cafe had plenty to choose from. Reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Gift shop and restrooms attached. Great stop. Not overwhelming or shoulder to shoulder tourists like other stops.

Eating and service are great. softdrinks are in the price of eating incl. they have class pictures of the opposite.

We received menus and cutlery immediately upon arriving, and quickly had our drink orders taken and delivered. Once we were ready, our orders were taken and the appetizers arrived promptly. Fresh homemade bread accompanied the appetizers, which we enjoyed while our orders were prepared. Once our meals arrived we indulged in the exquisite perfection of truly fine dining.

We stayed at the hotel that the restaurant depends on and logically dineed on the spot. I had a few fears when I saw the sometimes bold mixtures that the chef allows, but it is important to note that he does not get well at all. My cute pork net was perfectly accommodated just like the dishes chosen by my friends. We also discovered a very pleasant Canadian red wine! a friendly and efficient service, a little high addition but we are far from everything!...
